Tersa 240mm Replacement Knife — HSS, M42, or Carbide

Description

The SCH-QC-TER-240mm-S is a 240mm Tersa-system double-edged planer knife for machines with 240mm Tersa heads. The 240mm size fits wide-production planers and moulders — a common maximum planing width in European medium-large production equipment and a practical maximum for many workshop-class wide-bed machines. Tersa’s self-locking centrifugal mechanism allows knife changes without tool use or spindle height re-calibration; the double-edged design provides two usable cutting faces per knife. The combination minimizes both change time and regrinding cost. Available in HSS for softwood and standard production moulding, M42 cobalt-HSS for mixed-species and hardwood production where standard HSS edge life is insufficient and full carbide cost is not warranted, or carbide for maximum service in hardwood and abrasive manufactured material at 240mm.
