Match the blank to your head

The blank style has to match your head: corrugated-back bars for corrugated heads, beveled-edge bars for bevel-seat heads, flat stock for W&H. Choose by head type, steel size, and length.

Our standard knife stock is M2 high-speed steel for sharp, durable edges across hardwoods and softwoods. Tell us your head and the sizes you run and we'll supply the right blanks — cut to length where needed.
