4-1/2 in. Insert Stile Head, 3-Wing, 1-1/4 in. Bore, Shaker Pattern — Groove

Description

Cuts the groove along shaker cabinet door stiles and rails — the 4-1/2 in. groove body in Schmidt’s insert shaker set. Three wings on a 1-1/4 in. bore run counter-clockwise with the wood face down, seating 30mm carbide ISR70 groove inserts (ISR70SC, or ISR70SCEE for an eased edge). The groove receives the tongue from the matching ISRH700R rail head and captures the floating center panel, forming the flat, square shaker joint. The same ISR70 inserts also run in the 4 in. ISRH70S body. Sold as the body only; inserts ordered separately. Also available as the 4 in. ISRH70S.
