Description

Profile 220 brings Freeborn’s ogee compound S-curve to the 200-series 1/2″ depth range, producing a door frame profile with the shadow depth of architectural millwork. The deeper relief emphasizes the flowing convex-to-concave arc transition of the ogee, lending more visual weight to cabinet and passage door frames than the standard-depth 080 variant. The 3-piece Multi-Profile configuration combines shimmed cope-head adjustment with Multi-Profile body flexibility: cope depth is tunable independently from the stile cut to close the joint cleanly across material variation, and the head bodies accept other CDIC insert profiles for shops running multiple door styles. Profile 220 is one of three distinct deep-pattern ogee radii (alongside 225 and 231) in the 200-series — verify the profile number against Freeborn’s profile sheet when matching to door design drawings. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock.
