Description

The FB-CDIC-010-3pc runs Freeborn’s profile 010 classic roundover through a 3-piece stile-and-rail insert system that includes a shimmed cope head. Where the 2-piece set runs a fixed cope geometry, the third piece — the shimmed cope head — lets operators adjust cope depth independently from the stile profile. This matters in production environments where material thickness varies between batches or where hardwood and softwood blanks run on the same setup: the shimmed cope head absorbs those small dimensional differences and keeps the joint closing cleanly without gaps or steps. Dedicated heads accept only profile 010 inserts, keeping setup repeatable. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. For straightforward runs on consistent-thickness stock where shimmed adjustment isn’t needed, the 2-piece FB-CDIC-010-2pc covers the same profile with one fewer head.
