Description

The FB-CDIC-080-3pc puts Freeborn’s profile 080 ogee — a flowing compound S-curve on stile faces — through a 3-piece Multi-Profile insert system with full cope-depth adjustability. The ogee edge combines convex and concave arcs into a profile that reads as formal and traditional, giving cabinet frames more visual depth than simpler single-radius profiles. The shimmed cope head allows fine-tuning of cope depth independently from the stile cut, keeping joints closed cleanly across material thickness variation between batches or mixed species runs. Multi-Profile heads also accept other CDIC insert profiles, reducing per-door head investment in shops producing multiple door styles. Deeper-relief ogee variants — profiles 220, 225, and 231 — are available in the 1/2″ depth-of-pattern 200-series for a more pronounced relief. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available.
