The SCH-QC-SCH-40mm-S is a 40mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. The 40mm segment fits compact SCHure-Lock heads or serves as a width-adjustment segment in assembled configurations. SCHure-Lock’s segmented head approach allows the planing width to be built from modular segments, with individual segments replaceable as they wear — each segment carries its own cutting edge, and only the segments in active use need periodic replacement. This is particularly efficient for heads running at partial-width or for shops that need to adjust machine width between production runs. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications.
