The SCH-QC-SCH-20mm-S is a 20mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock quick-change segmented heads. In the SCHure-Lock system, individual knife segments are combined across the head width to cover the full machine planing capacity — the 20mm segment allows precise width assembly in combination with other segment sizes. Short-length segments like the 20mm are used in compound head configurations to build the correct total head width from modular knife segments, enabling flexible head-width adjustment and segment-by-segment replacement of worn knives rather than full-head knife changes. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications — grade variants reflect differences in knife body height, thickness, or material grade to suit specific SCHure-Lock head models.
