Description

The SCH-QC-SCH-170mm-S is a 170mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. The 170mm segment provides a useful mid-range increment in the SCHure-Lock series — covering 170mm in a single segment and enabling assembly of widths including 340mm (two 170mm), 270mm (170mm + 100mm), and 250mm (170mm + 80mm). SCHure-Lock’s segment-by-segment replacement means knife wear in one section of the head is addressed without replacing adjacent segments that retain usable edge life. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications for different head models. No carbide at this length. Confirm SCHure-Lock head model and required grade specification before ordering.
