The SCH-QC-SCH-160mm-S is a 160mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. The 160mm segment serves SCHure-Lock head configurations at 160mm single-segment width and in compound assemblies — two 160mm segments span 320mm, and 160mm combined with 100mm reaches the standard 260mm production width. SCHure-Lock’s segment-level replacement limits knife tooling cost to individual worn segments rather than full-width knife replacement. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications reflecting knife body dimension and material grade for different SCHure-Lock head models. No carbide at this length.
