The SCH-QC-SCH-30mm-S is a 30mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. SCHure-Lock head segments combine to assemble the total machine planing width — a 30mm segment fits into compact segmented head configurations or serves as an increment in compound assemblies alongside 10mm, 20mm, 50mm, and larger segments. The system’s segmented design means only worn knife sections need replacement rather than a full-width knife, reducing tooling cost per sharpening cycle in production environments. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications reflecting knife body size and material grade differences for compatibility with specific SCHure-Lock head models. No carbide at this length.
