Adjustable 2-Piece Insert Groover — 12.5–24mm, 6″ OD

Description

The IC-22-ADJ is a 2-piece adjustable insert groover set that cuts grooves from 12.5mm to 24mm wide by varying the spacers and shims stacked between the two cutter heads — no separate fixed-width heads required for each groove width in that range. This makes it the production choice for shops machining variable-width dados, housing joints, or panel grooves across different product lines or customer specifications. The 14×14mm square carbide inserts seat in a 6″ OD, 4-wing body on a 1-1/4″ bore spindle. Spurs are included for clean cross-grain cuts. The 6″ diameter provides a stable cutting arc well-suited to groover-depth operations in solid wood and sheet goods. Spacer and shim sets (not included) control groove width — verify spacer availability and groove width increments with your supplier when ordering for a specific target width range.
