The FB-CDIC-030-3pc combines Multi-Profile head flexibility with shimmed cope adjustment for Freeborn’s profile 030 cove door edge. Three heads cover both stile operations — cove profile plus panel groove in one pass — and the shimmed cope for rail ends, with the cope shims allowing fine-tuning of joint depth to close cleanly against the stile profile regardless of minor material thickness variation between runs. Multi-Profile bodies can also be fitted with other CDIC insert profiles, so the head investment stretches across multiple door styles as production programs change. Profile 030 is one of several distinct cove radii in Freeborn’s catalog; verify the profile number against Freeborn’s profile sheet or your door design drawings when specifying. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ material, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available.
