Description

The FB-CDIC-055-2pc is a 2-piece stile-and-rail insert set on a Dedicated head body, cutting Freeborn’s profile 055 bevel — an angled chamfer on stile faces with matching cope on rail ends. Dedicated heads accept only profile 055 inserts, which simplifies setup and keeps the repeat accurate across long production runs of the same door style — no possibility of inserting the wrong profile into the body. The bevel produces a clean, geometric chamfer suited to transitional and contemporary cabinetry. Profile 055 is a distinct bevel geometry from the Multi-Profile 050 and dedicated 060; verify against Freeborn’s profile sheet when matching to door design drawings. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. The 3-piece FB-CDIC-055-3pc adds a shimmed cope head for adjustable joint depth.
