Description

The SCH-QC-TER-320mm-S is a 320mm Tersa-system double-edged planer knife for industrial machines with 320mm Tersa-head capacity. At 320mm, this is a heavy-production Tersa knife fitting large-format planers used for wide lumber processing, wide architectural panel elements, and furniture components at full 320mm planing width. Tersa fast-change system maintains its production advantages at larger knife widths: tool-free knife changes without spindle calibration, double-edged service for two cutting intervals per knife, no regrinding. Available in HSS for softwood-dominated high-volume production, M42 cobalt-HSS for mixed-species and hardwood production with better edge retention than standard HSS, or carbide for maximum edge life in hardwood and abrasive material at industrial production volumes. At 320mm, carbide’s extended knife interval has significant operational value — fewer change stops per shift, consistent surface quality through longer production runs.
