The SCH-QC-TER-190mm-S is a 190mm Tersa-system double-edged planer knife for machines with 190mm Tersa heads. The 190mm Tersa knife fits mid-wide production planer-thicknessers and moulders from Weinig, Felder, Hammer, and compatible machines with Tersa-head tooling at 190mm capacity. Tersa self-locking centrifugal geometry enables tool-free, calibration-free knife changes in minutes; double-edged construction provides two usable edges per knife with no sharpening required. These two attributes make the Tersa system particularly well-suited to production environments where minimizing changeover time and tool maintenance effort is a priority. Available in HSS for softwood architectural moulding and general production, M42 cobalt-HSS for better hardwood performance at a price point between standard HSS and carbide, or carbide for maximum edge retention in hardwood-dominated production and abrasive materials.
