The SCH-QC-TER-100mm-S is a 100mm Tersa-system double-edged planer knife for machines with 100mm Tersa-head capacity. The Tersa self-locking system is one of the most widely used quick-change planer knife standards in European woodworking equipment — centrifugal force locks knives in the head during cutting, spring-ejects them at rest, and knife changes require no tools and take only minutes. Double-edged design gives two cutting edges per knife for twice the service interval before replacement. No regrinding. Available in HSS for general softwood planing and light hardwood production, M42 cobalt-HSS for improved hardwood edge retention at a cost point between standard HSS and carbide, or carbide for maximum edge life in oak, beech, and hard maple production and abrasive board materials.
