The SCH-QC-TER-120mm-S is a 120mm Tersa-system double-edged planer knife for machines with Tersa heads at 120mm width. Tersa quick-change knife systems are widely fitted to European planer-thicknessers and moulders from manufacturers including Robland, Hammer, Felder, Minimax, Graule, and others — the Tersa head’s centrifugal self-locking knife mechanism enables fast, tool-free knife changes that reduce downtime compared to conventional planer heads. The double-edged knife design provides two cutting edges for extended service. No sharpening is required — replace when both edges are dull. Available in HSS for standard softwood and mixed-species jointing and planing, M42 cobalt-HSS for better hardwood performance than standard HSS without carbide pricing, or carbide for maximum edge life in dense hardwood and abrasive manufactured material.
