The SCH-QC-SCH-240mm-S is a 240mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. The 240mm segment is a practical wide-increment in the SCHure-Lock series — covering the standard 240mm European production width as a single segment, reaching the standard 300mm with a 60mm addition, and spanning 480mm as a two-segment pair for wide head assemblies. SCHure-Lock’s segment-level replacement approach delivers proportional tooling cost at each segment size: a 240mm segment covers a full mid-production machine width while remaining individually replaceable. Available in HSS in multiple grade specifications for different SCHure-Lock head models. No carbide at this length. Confirm installed head model and grade specification before ordering.
