The SCH-QC-SCH-220mm-S is a 220mm replacement knife for Schmidt SCHure-Lock segmented quick-change cutter heads. The 220mm segment covers a standard European production width commonly found in mid-size planer and moulder configurations — as a single 220mm segment or in compound assemblies: 220mm plus 80mm reaches 300mm, and two 220mm segments span 440mm for wide production. SCHure-Lock’s segment replacement approach at this length reduces per-change tooling cost compared to full-width single-knife systems at comparable planing widths.
