Description
Profile 007 cuts a stepped edge on the raised center panel — a flat transition with a sharp shoulder rather than a curved arc. The stepped-edge profile creates a defined, geometric border around the raised field: the panel steps down at a right angle (or near-right angle) to the flat border rather than transitioning through a curve. This produces a clean, strong shadow line well-suited to contemporary, transitional, and Shaker-adjacent cabinet programs where geometric precision is preferred over decorative curves. The FB-RPIC-007 runs on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle at 6″ diameter, fed face up (CCW), with an AP-90-048 rub bearing controlling cut depth at the panel shoulder. Freeborn’s insert design allows carbide or T-Alloy tips to be replaced without retiring the head, supporting cost-effective production in high-volume runs. The only stepped-edge profile in the standard RPIC lineup.
