Description

The FB-CDIC-020-2pc cuts Freeborn’s profile 020 cove — a concave arc stile edge with matching cope on rail ends — through a Multi-Profile insert cutter set that shares head bodies with other profiles in the CDIC line. The 2-piece configuration handles both operations: the stile head cuts the cove profile and panel groove in one pass, and the cope head machines the rail ends. Multi-Profile heads accept different insert sets, so a shop already running another profile on compatible body hardware can add profile 020 cove by swapping inserts rather than purchasing new head pairs — compounding hardware value across multiple door styles. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. The 3-piece FB-CDIC-020-3pc adds a shimmed cope head for adjustable joint depth.
