Description
The ogee profile delivers a compound S-curve on stile faces — a flowing transition from convex arc to concave arc that carries more visual complexity than a roundover or cove, lending cabinet doors a formal and traditional character. The FB-CDIC-080-2pc cuts Freeborn’s profile 080 ogee through a 2-piece Multi-Profile stile-and-rail insert system: the stile head runs the ogee edge and panel groove in a single pass; the cope head machines matching rail ends. Multi-Profile head bodies accept other CDIC insert profiles, so the same hardware investment runs multiple door styles by swapping insert sets. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. Deeper-relief ogee variants are available in the 200-series with 1/2″ depth of pattern (profiles 220, 225, 231). The 3-piece FB-CDIC-080-3pc adds shimmed cope adjustment.
