2 x 3/4 x 1/4 in. HSS Corrugated Back Straight Knives for RH100

Description

The CB155 is a high-speed steel (HSS) corrugated back straight knife measuring 2 in. x 3/4 in. x 1/4 in. for use in RH100 and RH101 corrugated back router heads. Straight-back corrugated knives seat in the corrugated pockets of CB router heads, where the matching corrugations provide positive knife locking without slipping under router operating loads. The CB155 at 3/4 in. width produces a 3/4 in. wide cut profile — suited to narrow bead, small roundover, and 3/4 in. width edge profiles on solid wood and MDF. High-speed steel provides the edge toughness needed for profiling hardwood and abrasive wood species where carbide-tipped knives may chip on interrupted cuts or resin-contaminated material. For an equivalent profile in carbide-tipped steel, the CT155 provides the same 3/4 in. width with greater edge retention for production runs in harder or more abrasive materials. CB155 knives must be ground to the desired profile and weight-matched as a set before mounting in the RH100/RH101 head. Sold as knives requiring profile grinding.
