Description

The CB265 is a high-speed steel corrugated back straight knife measuring 2 in. x 1-1/4 in. x 5/16 in. for RH100 and RH101 corrugated back router heads. The 1-1/4 in. knife width covers mid-range profile work — casing profiles, base moulding starter profiles, and decorative edge profiles at 1-1/4 in. width. The 5/16 in. thickness provides stiffness for clean cutting performance at this knife width. High-speed steel allows the CB265 to be reground in-house to custom profiles across the 1-1/4 in. width — a significant advantage in small shops that produce custom architectural profiles and do not want to stock pre-ground knives for every project. The CT265 is the carbide-tipped equivalent for shops running harder or more abrasive species where HSS edge life is insufficient. Weight-matching within the knife pair is required before mounting in the RH100/RH101 head. The corrugated back pattern engages the matching corrugations in the RH100/RH101 seat pockets for positive anti-creep retention. Profile grinding required before use.
