Centrolock 130mm Replacement Knife — HSS or Carbide

Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-130mm-S is a 130mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads, including Weinig Centrolock and compatible systems. The 130mm length is a common size in European production moulding, fitting 130mm-capacity Weinig and similar heads used in medium-production moulding and planing on softwood and mixed-species material. Centrolock’s constant-diameter design allows knife changes without adjusting the spindle height setting — keeping the head in adjustment between knife replacements and reducing setup time. Available in HSS or carbide: HSS is standard for softwood architectural moulding production and allows in-house regrinding; carbide is preferred for runs in dense hardwoods including oak, beech, and hard maple, and for abrasive manufactured sheet materials where HSS edge life is insufficient to maintain production efficiency.
