Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-150mm-S is a 150mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads. The 150mm length is among the more common sizes in European production moulding, fitting Weinig and compatible moulder heads used for architectural trim, furniture rail and stile components, and panel moulding in medium-production environments. Centrolock constant-diameter geometry eliminates spindle height re-setting after knife changes, maintaining the machine in calibration through the knife’s service life and across multiple replacement cycles — a core advantage in continuous production environments where downtime between knife changes must be minimized. Available in HSS for cost-effective softwood and mixed-species production and carbide for hardwood including oak, walnut, and dense European species, as well as abrasive materials where HSS dulls too quickly.
