Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-100mm-S is a 100mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads. Centrolock’s constant-diameter head geometry maintains spindle height regardless of knife wear state, eliminating the re-setting step required by conventional planer heads between knife changes — a significant production time saving in high-volume moulding operations. The 100mm length serves small-to-mid production machines with 100mm planing width, narrow moulder heads, and specialized tooling configurations requiring compact head dimensions. Available in HSS for cost-effective general moulding and softwood production, or carbide for extended edge life in oak, hard maple, and abrasive manufactured materials. HSS allows in-house regrinding on standard equipment; carbide extends time between grinds significantly in harder species and reduces the grinding cost burden on busy production schedules.
