Centrolock 190mm Replacement Knife — HSS or Carbide

Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-190mm-S is a 190mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads. The 190mm length fits mid-size production moulder heads common in European architectural and furniture moulding: Weinig Hydromat and Powermat configurations, as well as competing machines with Centrolock-compatible tooling, running profile moulding at 190mm planing width. Centrolock head design maintains constant OD through the knife’s service life — the spindle height setting remains valid until the knife is changed, and after a knife swap the machine is immediately ready to run without height re-calibration. Available in HSS for standard softwood and pine architectural moulding production, or carbide for dense hardwood moulding where HSS service intervals create production bottlenecks. Choose based on species mix: HSS at softwood-dominated shops, carbide where hardwood runs are frequent or where grinding service access is limited and extended knife intervals are preferred.
