125mm x 30mm Stackable Surfacing Head, 40mm Bore

Description

The IS1253 is a 125mm OD, 30mm wide stackable surfacing head with 40mm bore for European spindle moulders and production shapers with metric spindles. Stackable surfacing heads are designed to be ganged side-by-side on the spindle with other IS125x series heads, building up the total surfacing width by combining multiple 30mm or 50mm head bodies. This modular approach to surfacing allows the operator to match the total working width to the material being processed without dedicated fixed-width heads. The IS1253 at 30mm width is the narrower body in the IS125x series; the IS1255 at 50mm provides a wider option, and multiple IS1253 and IS1255 heads can be stacked together. The 40mm bore accommodates European metric spindles where inch-bore heads would not fit. IS1263 gibs are the replacement clamping components for 30mm IS125x heads.
