6mm Weinig Tracing Pin — Round One Side, Square One Side

Description

The AC926 is a 6mm diameter tracing pin for Weinig Rondamat moulder knife grinders — the largest of the standard pin set, with round contact geometry on one side and square on the other. At 6mm, the AC926 is used for profiles with broad open curves where smaller pins would still track but a larger contact footprint provides more stability and less template wear on long grinding runs. The 6mm pin does not track inside curves tighter than approximately 3mm radius and should not be used on profiles with tight coves — reserve it for wide ogee curves, gentle roundovers, and large sweeping profile forms. The square side is particularly useful on templates with long straight vertical or horizontal segments. For profiles with a mix of tight and open sections, use a smaller pin (AC921-AC924) to maintain accuracy at the tightest curves. Compatible with Weinig Rondamat 930, 934, 950, and 960.
