The MH448M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 8 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the metric bore version of the MH448 for European 40mm-spindle wide-bed industrial moulders. The 8 in. CEL in a 4-pocket, 40mm-bore head is the industrial workhorse specification for European production moulding operations running very tall architectural panel profiles and wide-bed production on metric-spindle equipment. Four-knife geometry at 8 in. CEL provides improved surface finish over 2-pocket configurations at the same knife projection, justifying the higher knife mass and balance precision required. The 15° hook maintains hardwood surface quality at industrial CEL on European equipment. Knife weight matching, balance verification, and confirmed safe operating speed are mandatory at 8 in. CEL. The MH448DM is the dual-angle version for shops needing 12°/20° hook selection at 8 in. CEL. Confirm 40mm spindle specification before ordering. Knives sold separately.
