Freeborn offers multiple cove radii in the CDIC insert cutter line, each with a distinct arc depth and visual character. Profile 030 is a specific cove variant in that range — match the profile number against Freeborn’s profile sheet or your door design drawings when specifying. The FB-CDIC-030-2pc delivers it through a 2-piece Multi-Profile stile-and-rail set: the stile head cuts the cove profile and panel groove in one pass; the cope head handles rail ends. Multi-Profile head bodies are compatible across the CDIC insert system, so shops running multiple door profiles can share head hardware between styles by swapping inserts, reducing overall tooling investment. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock, standard depth of pattern. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. The 3-piece FB-CDIC-030-3pc adds shimmed cope-depth adjustment.
