The SCH-QC-TER-230mm-D is a 230mm Schmidt Terminus double-sided reversible quick-change planer knife for machines with 230mm Terminus heads. The 230mm length represents a wider production class — fitting larger moulder and planer configurations for wide architectural trim, door components, and wide-board processing at 230mm planing width. Terminus fast-change enables tool-free, calibration-free knife changes at any knife width; double-sided construction provides two usable cutting faces per knife without regrinding. At 230mm width, knife changes in a conventional head are time-consuming — the Terminus advantage in changeover speed is particularly useful at wider knife dimensions where setup time otherwise eats into production throughput. Available in 18% Tungsten T1 HSS steel for softwood and standard moulding production or carbide for hardwood and abrasive material runs where extended edge life at 230mm is operationally significant.
