Description

The SCH-QC-TER-100mm-D is a 100mm Schmidt Terminus double-sided reversible quick-change planer knife for machines with 100mm Terminus heads. Terminus is Schmidt’s proprietary fast-change knife system — knives change without tools or spindle height re-calibration, cutting changeover time to minutes. The double-sided design provides two cutting edges per knife: run the primary edge until dull, flip, and continue production on the second edge before replacing the knife. No sharpening needed at either edge. The 100mm length covers small-to-mid production planer and moulder heads for machines running at 100mm planing width. Available in 18% Tungsten T1 HSS steel for general softwood and mixed-species production or carbide for extended edge life in oak, hard maple, beech, and abrasive manufactured board. Carbide is the better choice for shops running hardwood-dominated production or where knife grinding service is limited. Confirm Terminus head compatibility and 100mm head width before ordering.
