The SCH-QC-TER-150mm-D is a 150mm Schmidt Terminus double-sided reversible quick-change planer knife for machines with 150mm Terminus heads. At 150mm, this is a common production size for European planer-thicknessers and moulders used in architectural trim, furniture rail and stile components, and panel moulding. The Terminus fast-change system enables tool-free knife swaps without spindle height re-setting; the double-sided construction gives two cutting edges per knife for twice the service interval before a replacement is needed — no sharpening required. Available in 18% Tungsten T1 HSS steel for softwood and general mixed-species production or carbide for extended edge retention in oak, walnut, and dense hardwood runs and abrasive manufactured materials. At 150mm, the choice between steel and carbide has meaningful impact on production continuity: carbide significantly extends the time between knife changes in hardwood production.
