The MH444DM is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 4 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket dual-angle corrugated back moulder head with 12° and 20° hook seats — the 40mm metric bore version of the MH444D for European-specification production moulders. The 4 in. CEL covers the core production profile range — door casing, base moulding, chair rail — with dual-angle flexibility for European shops running mixed hardwood/softwood production. The 12° seats serve the dense hardwoods common in European furniture production (beech, oak, walnut); the 20° seats address chip clearance for softwood architectural moulding. Matching the 40mm bore to the spindle specification is essential for accurate profile geometry on European equipment. Knife weight matching and head balance at 4 in. CEL in 4-pocket configuration are required before use. The MH444D (1-1/2 in. bore) is the North American equivalent. Confirm 40mm spindle specification. Knives sold separately.
