Description

The 125mm scoring blade diameter fits the scoring arbor configuration on specific panel saw models where the 120mm blade is undersized for the arbor assembly. This 24-tooth scoring blade on a 5/8 in. bore performs the pre-scoring function that prevents chip-out on the bottom face of melamine-faced board, veneer-faced plywood, and HPL-surfaced sheet goods during panel saw cutting. By cutting a shallow score line at the bottom face of the panel ahead of and below the main blade path, this scoring blade pre-fractures the surface along the cut line before the main blade exits from below — eliminating the chip-out that would otherwise occur where the main blade exits through brittle face materials. At 24 teeth on 125mm, the blade provides adequate tooth density for consistent, clean scoring at panel saw feed rates. The 5/8 in. bore fits the North American bore scoring arbor configuration on panel saws spec’d for this blade size. Carbide tips maintain scoring geometry through extended production use in high-volume panel cutting environments. Being a conical scoring blade, it cuts an adjustable score width of 4.3–5.3mm — raise or lower the blade to match the main-blade kerf exactly.
