Description
The 2-piece 120mm scoring set on a 22mm bore is configured for European sliding panel saws where the scoring arbor mounts two blades in opposition to score both edges of the kerf simultaneously before the main blade cuts through. This pre-scoring action prevents chip-out and delamination on the bottom face of melamine-faced board, HPL-surfaced panel, and veneer-faced sheet goods — materials where the main blade’s exit through the bottom face would otherwise fracture the brittle surface if unscored. At 120mm diameter and 22mm bore, this set fits the scoring arbor specification of European panel saws designed for this blade size class. Twelve teeth at 120mm delivers adequate tooth count for a clean, consistent score pass in laminate-faced panel materials at panel saw production rates. The 2-piece set provides both scoring blades as matched components for the scoring arbor. Carbide tips are ground to consistent geometry to maintain scoring performance through high-volume production panel saw use in melamine and laminate panel cutting. Being a conical scoring set, it cuts an adjustable score width of .110″–.141″ — raise or lower the blades to match the main-blade kerf exactly.
