Description
Profile 006 puts an ogee — a compound S-curve combining a convex arc flowing into a concave arc — on the raised center panel transition. The ogee is the most visually complex raised panel profile in Freeborn’s standard RPIC series: the double-curve creates a deeper, more layered shadow under raking light and gives panels a traditional, formal character suited to formal cabinet programs, furniture-grade cabinetry, and architectural millwork. The FB-RPIC-006 runs on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle at 6″ diameter, fed face up (CCW), with an AP-90-048 rub bearing setting cut depth at the panel border. Replaceable carbide or T-Alloy inserts extend cutter life in high-volume production runs by allowing tip replacement without retiring the 6″ head. The profile number coordinates with corresponding CDIC door frame sets for a unified panel-and-frame profile program.
