The FB-RPIC-003 cuts the profile 003 roundover on the raised center panel of cabinet doors — one of five roundover profiles (001, 002, 003, 004, 013) in Freeborn’s RPIC series, each with a distinct arc radius for matching to door design drawings or coordinating with CDIC door frame sets. The roundover transition from panel field to border creates a soft visual connection between the raised center and the flat frame area, with the exact arc character varying by profile number. Freeborn’s insert design allows carbide or T-Alloy cutting tips to be replaced independently of the 6″ head body, extending cutter service life in high-volume production runs. The AP-90-048 rub bearing controls cut depth at the panel border. Running on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle, fed face up (CCW).
