Description

The FB-DE-114 applies a profile 114 cove — a concave arc — to the visible face edge of doors and panels, the only cove option in Freeborn’s DE door-edge insert series. The cove cuts inward, creating a scooped shadow line on the door edge that reads as more traditional than a roundover and with a different visual character from the ogee’s compound curve. This makes the 114 cove well-suited to traditional and transitional cabinet programs where a soft, inward-curving edge is part of the design language without the formality of an ogee. The dedicated head body accepts only profile 114 inserts — one profile per head — keeping the cove geometry accurate across production runs. 1-1/4″ bore, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 30mm carbide or T-Alloy insert tips, 3-wing CCW. Inserts are replaceable independently of the head body for long production life.
