Profile 113 is the second stepped-edge profile in Freeborn’s DE door-edge insert series — a distinct step geometry from profile 101, covering door edge specifications where the 101 step proportion doesn’t match the design drawing. Both 101 and 113 cut flat, geometric transitions on the visible door face edge without a curved arc; the profiles differ in step depth, shoulder angle, or visual proportion. Verify the profile number against Freeborn’s door-edge catalog when choosing between the two stepped-edge options. The dedicated head body accepts only profile 113 inserts, keeping geometry consistent across production runs. Stepped-edge profiles suit contemporary, Shaker, and transitional cabinet designs where a clean, defined edge is preferred over decorative curves. 1-1/4″ bore, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 30mm insert tips (carbide or T-Alloy), 3-wing CCW. Inserts are replaceable independently of the head body.
