The dedicated head body accepts only profile 032 inserts — one profile per head body — keeping edge geometry consistent and setup fast across long production runs. The 032 profile designation indicates a specific arc proportion in Freeborn’s door-edge catalog; match the number against Freeborn’s profile sheet or your door design drawings to confirm the correct roundover before ordering. As with all DE-series cutters, this head shapes the visible decorative edge on the door or panel face — a different operation from CDIC stile-and-rail joint cutting. 1-1/4″ bore, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 30mm carbide or T-Alloy insert tips, 3-wing CCW. Insert tips are replaceable independently of the head body for extended production life.
