Description

The MH232P6 is a 3-1/2 in. OD, 2 in. cut length, 1 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle for shapers and moulders with 1 in. spindles. The smaller 3-1/2 in. OD and 1 in. bore suit light-duty production shapers, bench-top moulders, and older machinery with non-standard spindle sizes where 4 in. OD heads would be too large or the bore would not fit. The 2 in. knife seat handles small to medium profile work: casing, bead, and chair rail profiles where the 1 in. bore spindle limits the head OD and CEL compared to the larger MH20x series. Corrugated back knife retention locks straight-back profile knives in the seat pockets, preventing knife movement under cutting forces. The 20° hook angle is standard for softwood and mixed-species production moulding. The MH232P6 through MH234P6 provide 2, 3, and 4 in. CEL options at 3-1/2 in. OD and 1 in. bore. Confirm spindle bore tolerance before ordering. Knives sold separately.
