The GW205 is a V-54 vitrified aluminum oxide grinding wheel with a 7-inch raised hub for the Utma, Foley, Diehl, and Oliver knife grinder platform — at 10” diameter, 1/4” wide, and 1-1/4” bore, it matches the GW200 profile wheel but adds a raised hub that positions the grinding face offset from the arbor flange. Certain grinder head configurations require this offset to provide clearance between the mounting hardware and the knife being ground — the hub geometry determines whether the plain (GW200) or raised hub (GW205) version is appropriate for the specific machine configuration. V-54 grit vitrified aluminum oxide provides standard profiling performance on HSS moulder knife steel.
