The TN303X is a 25-inch XLW high-performance HSS smooth-back planer and jointer knife bar, 2 inches wide and 3/16 inches thick. The 2-inch width covers knife profile heights requiring a tall knife body — appropriate for wider moulding profiles, deep sticking patterns, and architectural knife shapes where 1-1/2-inch or 1-3/4-inch bars would be insufficient to accommodate the full profile. Smooth-back geometry suits gib-clamped heads; the 3/16-inch thickness specifies the slot dimension. XLW HP extended-wear alloy provides longer edge life than T1 or M2 at this knife width — at 2-inch knife height, the grinding cycle per bar is more time-intensive, so extended intervals between grinds have meaningful production impact. Cut from 25-inch bar to required machine lengths in-shop. Ground on standard HSS equipment. Confirm head slot and knife-back format before ordering.
