Powermatic 2A Tenoner Right-Hand Spindle Adapter

Description

The PM125R is a 1-1/4 in. OD x 5/8 in. threaded ID right-hand spindle adapter for the Powermatic 2A double-end tenoner. The right-hand thread adapter mounts tenoning heads on the appropriate spindle of the Powermatic 2A, providing the threaded interface between the machine spindle and the cope heads or other tenoning tooling. On double-end tenoning machines, the two spindles typically use opposite thread directions — one left-hand, one right-hand — so that the cutting forces tend to tighten the heads rather than loosen them during operation. The PM125R provides the right-hand threaded mount for the correct spindle on the 2A machine. The PM125L is the companion left-hand adapter. When adapter wear or threading damage requires replacement, the PM125R restores the correct spindle interface for right-hand-threaded head mounting. Confirm which spindle on the Powermatic 2A uses right-hand threading before ordering.
