Powermatic 2A Tenoner Left-Hand Spindle Adapter

Description

The PM125L is a 1-1/4 in. OD x 5/8 in. threaded ID left-hand spindle adapter for the Powermatic 2A double-end tenoner. Tenoning machine spindles often use threaded adapters to mount the cutter heads — the left-hand thread convention on one spindle prevents the head from loosening under the centrifugal and cutting forces during operation. The PM125L provides the left-hand threaded mount for Powermatic 2A cope heads (PM121B, PM121T) and other tooling on the appropriate spindle. The 1-1/4 in. OD accommodates standard tenoning head bore sizes. When adapter wear, damage, or replacement of the threading is needed, the PM125L restores the correct spindle interface for left-hand-threaded head mounting. The PM125R is the right-hand companion adapter for the opposite spindle. Confirm the PM125L is the correct handedness for the specific spindle on the 2A tenoner before ordering — using the wrong thread direction risks head loosening during operation.
