Description
The GW343C is a copper-clad Borazon (CBN — cubic boron nitride) grinding wheel for HSS moulder knife profiling on the Weinig Rondamat platform. Borazon/CBN is a super-abrasive that outperforms conventional vitrified aluminum oxide on HSS in production environments: it holds its profile longer, generates less heat per pass, and maintains cutting efficiency through far more dressing cycles before the wheel needs replacement. The radius face configuration makes GW343C the correct choice for profiling curved knife forms — coves, roundovers, ogees, and other curved moulding elements. At 2mm width, 120 grit, and 60mm bore, it fits the Weinig Rondamat metric wheel format. 5mm Borazon depth provides extended wheel life through multiple dressing operations. For the square face version at the same grit and diameter, see GW344C. For a wider 4mm Borazon wheel, see GW346C.
